GPRS not working in nitdroid 0.0.9

WARNING! ONE BUG - ONE REPORT, PLEASE!

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1.No connection right from the beginning.
Tried rebooting the phone after setting APN

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I have installed nitdroid 0.0.9 and set the APN just like I did earlier for 
nitdroid 0.0.8-Popov
In case of 0.0.9, the data connection does not work, although Wi-Fi and 
bluetooth are working fine.
In case of 0.0.8 I used to get immediate connection after setting the APN.
(Symbol E used to appear and internet could be accessed).

What is your device, RootFS, Multiboot and kernel versions?
N900, 8GB class 2 microSD card, Multiboot: 0.0.25, Kernel: 2.6.28-06 

What was installation method?
Completely manual

Please provide any additional information below. Logs (logcat, dmesg) are
highly appreciated. (log collector available @
http://downloads.nitdroid.com/android-log-collector-1.1.0.apk)
