Thanks.
I know very little about debian packaging - I don't have access to any debian
machines. I'll read up about it, and post to this issue if I have any
questions for you.

I've committed the patch. Could you make sure I didn't miss any files?
Will you be maintaining this as new versions are released?

Sorry, a little misunderstanding there, you didn't need to actually commit the
patch.
The debian packaging system is designed to be kept separate from the upstream code.
The .dsc and .diff.gz are there to be downloaded along side the original tarball,
then the debian build system combines them to create a .deb package.
I'm sorry I should have made that clear. It doesn't really do any harm to have
the
debian files in there really, but if every distro put files in there it might
get a
bit crowded :-). All I wanted was to make the files available for others to
download, especially the .deb. If you could put the .deb file on the downloads
page
that would be perfect. I'm not sure whether the other files belong there or not
since they are only needed to make the .deb.
And yes, I plan on maintaining this for future releases, time permitting.

Ah, I see. Since I have a fedora spec file in the package, I thought maybe
debian
worked the same way. I actually prefer the separate approach, especially since
I
have no way to test the debian package build.
I'll add the files to the downloads section. If you like, I can also add a
link to
the debian package page so that every time a new version is released, you don't
need
to go through me to make the files available.
