X201 will not boot #83

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Trying to boot from any USB drive
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It should boot and display a GUI. instead it either drops into a panic or 
haults at the "ANDROID LIVE" screen.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
android 0.3, thinkpad x201, multitouch, core i7, integrated graphics.

Please provide any additional information below.
I used UnetBootin to make the ISO bootable. I have been suggested to try 
grub4dos however it does not seem to be a bootloader error

android doesn't have the ability to use the 1156 chipset in the x201
