The following commits update the repository to reflect changes to the course for 2015 (tested on Ubuntu 12.04, Windows 7, and OS X 10.7+).

I'll submit another pull request to enable OpenCL once that assignment is released.

You're welcome! I still believe it to be better (and cleaner) than the official implementation!

. . . and now it allows for OpenCL local development (which the official implementation currently doesn't support).
