This a great resource for amateur mappers. Thanks Nico for creating this
project and thanks to all of the contributors.

There is a sport missing from the list. It is the sport of "curling". It
originated and Scotland but is widely spread across the northern hemisphere and
it has been a Winter Olympic sport since 1998 although there were some
demonstrations of curling as early as the 1924 Olympics.

See this wikipedia link for more details:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curling

I think the profile of a curling stone would make a good icon. Here is a link
to a curling stone image on wikimedia:

Best regards,
Bernie.

Hi Bernie,

Thanks for your positive feedback and your suggestion. Being Swedish I know
very well what Curling is :-) Once it has been made you will find it here:

Kind Regards,

Matthias

Matthias,

That's great. It will be nice to have the curling icon for my website:

https://sites.google.com/site/nbsportspots/maps/ice-arenas

I was going to try creating the icon myself but your website does not have
instructions for Gimp users.

Bernie.
