Connection notifications eventually fill your screen and don't go away if you have multiple VPNs #242

NOTE: We suggest that you post on the Tunnelblick Discussion Group before
submitting an "Issue". (http://groups.google.com/group/tunnelblick-discuss)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect to a VPN
2. Disconnect from the VPN
3. Connect to a different VPN
4. Disconnect from the VPN
5. Connect to yet another VPN

What is the expected output?
screen not getting cluttered

What do you see instead?
Each VPN I connect to adds another gray notification box on the screen when I
mouse over the menu item. I sysadmin for a company with a lot of offices and
have to periodically VPN into individual offices, so there are about 15 VPNs.
Eventually this covers half my screen with the notification boxes, even if
they're no longer connected. Having them there to reconnect to is probably
nice, but it would be cool if they'd go away after you've been disconnected
from that one for an hour or two or something.

They all have a little X in the top left corner, but clicking it only makes
them all go away until you mouse over the menu item and they're all back.

What version of Tunnelblick are you using? On what version of OS X?

Please provide any additional information below. Please include your
configuration file and the contents of the OpenVPN Log window (including
the first few lines with version information), but remember to remove any
sensitive information such as IP addresses.

Un-check the "Show when disconnected" checkbox on the "Appearance" panel of the
"VPN Details..." window.
