Research is not working

Describe the bug When I go into console and set my resPt to the right amount, and then click to start research (or do it manually by calling the functions), it does not have any visual effect.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to console and type "resPt = 100"
2. Click on Research tab
3. Click Start Researching
4. See no effect
