Hi! Tried to add (not replace) checkra1n 0.10.2 to your shell script and build new iso in Ubuntu 20.04. Iso creation was successful, but when I try jailbreak with added version of checkra1n I get “USBError” or stuck on exploiting process. And I get this stuff also in 0.12.2 version after building new iso, even I didn’t change nothing for that version. Where’s my fault? Help, please!

Think something might be messed up with usbmuxd in the latest images. I'll be looking into it and debugging it tonight. I'll see what I can do.

although, I can't really support old versions of checkra1n because that's a separate program. I just provide the ISOs.

Understood. It will be perfect if you debug it

Try different USB ports.

If you think this is a checkn1x specific issue, try running checkra1n under Ubuntu or another Linux distribution on your hardware. If it works where checkn1x won't, then reply and I'll re-open the issue and continue looking into it.

The checkn1x which was built by you works perfect. But when I try to build myself (added checkra1n 0.10.2) from your source code it stuck on exploiting process

Why are you building with an older version?

xmerdank commented 3 years ago

I didn’t replace newer version of checkra1n with an older. I just added another one. After that neither one worked for me. Both versions stuck on exploiting process or says “usberror 77”. Older version I’m using for iPhone 5S, cause I can successfully jb only with 0.10.2 version
