Allow disabling touchpad when using trackpoint #42

On Thinkpads I'd like to be able to occasionally use touchpad even when I mostly use trackpoint

Sure, which version of the extension are you using? You can force enable/disable the touchpad with Ctrl + Super + Alt + T on v33. This should work for your needs.

Thanks for your answer. I've created the issue some time ago, but I think I meant automatic disabling the touchpad when the trackpoint is in use

askmrsinh commented 4 years ago

So you want the touchpad to be auto-disabled as soon as you interact with the trackpoint?

aleksandersumowski commented 4 years ago

yes, but then possibly re-enabled when I stop using trackpoint

the scenario is that most of the time I'm using trackpoint - and then occasionally move pointer by touching touchpoint

but also at times when I'm leisurely scrolling I'd like to use touchpad
