This extension is super cool but only works for 3.6 can u update to 4.0 and 4.2 of gnome versions?

MarcusPetri commented 2 years ago

I'm waiting to use it on Ubuntu 22.04 too...

Me too...

Just cloning the current version from the master branch to ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/touchpad-indicator@orangeshirt and editing the metadata.json to support version 42 seems to work for me.

Fnordbert commented 1 year ago

Editing metadata.json makes the indicator load, and the manual switch works.
Autoswitch however, only works for plugging in the mouse, not removing it.

Is there anything else I can provide to help debug?
