I am not having this problem on the gdac portal. Is that what you are
referring to?
button doesn't appear for:
HNSC (Broad)
THCA
I'll continue to test the other cancer studies and see what is coming in from
the firehose for THCA. Is HNSC (Broad) also firehose?

Ok, yes, I see THCA has no data, but HNSC (TCGA) does. You can see the data
here:

The button appears on the gdac portal, Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma
(TCGA, provisional) -- HNSC (TCGA) -- and data loads into the table.
These are the cancer studies for which the button doesn't show up. This is
supposed to mean that there is no gistic data for that cancer study. I think
that this is to be expected for many of them since they are not TCGA.
Acute Myeloid Leukemia (TCGA, provisional)
Bladder Cancer (MSKCC)
Breast Cancer (Broad, Sanger, Scandinavian cohorts)
Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia
Colorectal Cancer (Genetech)
Colorectal Cancer Triplets (MSKCC)
Lung Adenocarcinoma (Broad, MSKCC, TCGA & Broad, TSP)
Medulloblastome (ICGC)
Melanoma (Broad)
Prostate Cancer (Broad/Cornell)
Prostate Cancer, Metastatic and High Degree Primary (Michigan)
Small Cell Lung Cancer (CLCGP)
Small Cell Lung Cancer (Johns Hopkins)
Thyroid Carcinoma (TCGA, Provisional)

For the studies I pointed out initially, I meant the TCGA versions (including
provisional). For Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma (TCGA, provisional), I
don't see the button. Maybe an issue with Chrome?

No, I don't see HNSC (TCGA) on Safari either.

The MutSig button wasn't appearing and so the Gistic button floated over to the
left. Maybe this is disorienting.

Perhaps, but I didn't get much sleep last night :-), so my experience may not
be the best judge of this.
