IE displays CSS3111 error for MontserratAlternates #196

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Add <link 
href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Montserrat+Alternates:400,700&subse
t=cyrillic-ext,latin-ext,latin' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'> to html head 
and use font in css.

2. Open Internet Explorer 9 Script error console.  
Geting errors CSS3111: @font-face encountered unknown error.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The font itself seems to get loaded correctly but errors are displayed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Internet Explorer 9 / VMware fusion OSX mountain lion
