hello Asle, I have two monitors now, one with a resolution of 19201080, which works normally. The other is a 4k monitor, but it can only display 21601920 in hackintosh. How can I make the 4k monitor work properly?

I have to test this but I do not have a 4k monitor now so I have to wait until I get one. The HD 4600 graphics has native support in macOS and MacMini 2014 uses Haswell. I have not tested with MacMini7,1 but I understand it is recommended to use iMac Late-2013 or 2014 if you want to use macOS Big Sur. According to WateverGreen.kext setup you could try different buffer settings -> https://github.com/acidanthera/WhateverGreen/blob/master/Manual/FAQ.IntelHD.en.md#intel-hd-graphics-4200-5200-haswell-processors . Let me know if you are testing. You must change "AAPL,ig-platform-id" which now is 0300220D. I just followed the OpenCore recommended settings: https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/config.plist/haswell.html#deviceproperties.

Thank you all for your help. I read this guide and it seems that hd4600 can work under Catalina. But my system is big sur,the guide note: 4k output via the HD4600 is not working for me on Big Sur.

If we can fix the 4k monitor issue I am satisfied. I notice sound ports also are confusing now on Big Sur since some dissapeared. So I am going back to Catalina. I really don't see any need for Big Sur on this machine. But that is my opinion.

If you switch back to Catalina, I will switch to Catalina according to your method :) Both Catalina and big sur are good enough. My mac mini runs Catalina.

Hi alse, have you switched to Catalina? Still use the current EFI?

Have not had time to downgrade to macOS Catalina. Will post when I have done it.

I don't think the HD4600 supports 4k. It doesn't do this on Linux either. So if it was possible, it would work on Linux for sure as it even has the latest Intel Crocus drivers for Haswell GPUs

Please explain "Think it work now". Is 4k working? What did you do to solve it if it is working? I upgraded to Big Sur and OpenCore 0.9.1. I do not have a 4K monitor to test on. Also I only have one monitor so I have not had a chance to test multi-monitor. Please let everyone know if you have tested and what is working and why!.
