Only some external monitors are working #14

Does the installation only work on the monitor that you have used to install it with? I used my LG TV to install this and it works well on it, but when I want to plug in my HP monitor, it says "No signal detected!". Both use HDMI and the same framerate.

I never noticed this. I change between the ports with no problem but with the same monitor as I installed on. I can try to connect my TV to see if everything works since I have only used a 24" HD monitor for installing.

It worked now using the Display port. Have shut it down yesterday evening. Will report back if it boots up fine this time. This was another serial though. No idea if that was the reason.

I just wonder if iMacs have and HDMI port. If not maybe their serial is bound to the monitors serial in way.

Yeah works now. No idea why it didn't before.
