This is a research task. Initial thought has to go into the benefits/costs of building a Content - Provider for each feature domain. If implemented, this will replace the current way of:
retrieving and storing feature data
loading feature data on demand from an Activity
performing queries on feature data
Additional thought might go into a strategy of pre-loading feature data for estimated most used features on check-in into a given location. The strategy can be “intuitive” at first, but should end up being based on usage statistics (e.g. ordered list of accessed features / checked in location)
