Open blathers123 opened 2 years ago

blathers123 commented 2 years ago

Describe the bug When typing in a text field that filters results from HA (Devices, Service, etc.) while editing an automation, the dropdown that displays the possible choices will repeatedly "fly in" from the top left to where it should be, triggering on each new keystroke as the results list is updated.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create a new automation
  2. Type anywhere there is a Device, Services, etc. text field

Or even paste your automation file here Expected behavior The dropdown should not move

yea this is an annoying visual bug that may be due to me not using the component library correctly. Thank you for reporting :)

This seems to be something to do with how I'm using mui.com. Going to leave it for later unless someone with a bit more experience can take care of this.

It seems so far like a minor issue.

Is there anyway to avoid this? It makes the add-on essentially unusable for me.

This will be fixed in v0.8.0
