Why was the no-folding-per-pkg branch abandoned? #92

Was this feature deemed unnecessary or difficult to implement, or was it just time issues. Even without a no-folding-list file just the .no-stow-folding part would be very useful I think, which seems to have been implemented already. I'd love to know if there are plans to add this in the future.
