Based on discussion over email we don't have the same complex needs for testing we once had.
The master branch of this repo will be updated to be a simple 3.0-style ASP.NET Core app. I'm going to remove complex scripts that deal with crossgen, or creation of the runtime store so no one has indicated that they use these.
