Can we import content files from a NuGet package into an ASP.NET Core project? #1025

Is it possible to get contentFiles from a NuGet package in an ASP.NET Core project? We've tried the whole day without success.

We also tried a demo NuGet package from Justin Emgarten, Software Engineer at Microsoft, but it didn't work either: https://www.nuget.org/packages/ContentFilesExample/. https://github.com/NuGet/Home/issues/4803

Yes or no: Is this possible or not?
