Visual Studio 2017 RC icon cannot be changed #918

This isn't related to just the ASP.NET tooling, but again, I can't find the appropriate venue for reporting or discussing things about Visual Studio proper.

Is there some grand reason why the shortcut icon for Visual Studio 2017 RC is literally immutable without registry changes, or third party tools?

Visual Studio 2015 had no trouble with this, but for the life of me, 2017 RC refuses to keep an icon given to it when it gets pinned to the toolbar.

This isn't really critical, it just irks me since I enjoy having things customised a certain way, and it seems like an incredibly odd design choice - and if it isn't a choice, then it's probably a bug.

This seems fixed in the updated release candidate.
