i have 14.5 and updated to 14.6 no problem and for macOS 15 theoretical it not should prompt the mdm msg and for apple care it fine bcp apple won't verify the mdm status of your Mac
this worked on 14.6! but is it "permanent" in the following ways:
- if I update to a new MacOS version, will the mdm lock return?
- if I factory reset the computer, will the MDM lock return?
- if the computer has apple care + with accident protection and I send it in for repair, will the mdm return afterwards?
thanks for your help!
have you tested for macOS 15 ??

I haven't tested this yet but the MDM should not be prompted. Worst case, this does work on MacOS 15, so you'd simply have to bypass it again.
