trimmomatic docker image halts on MacOS #6

I've recently noticed that trimmomatic's image isn't executed properly in MacOS. The image is pulled without any issue and executions starts but it runs extremely slowly, making it impossible to us this image. So far I haven't experience this odd behaviour with any of the other images we provide. I don't know if this is an issue with our image or with docker for MacOS itself. I need to investigate this further to understand the issue better.
