adds coverity_scan

finally got this working. to trigger a coverity_scan, just push some commits into the coverity_scan branch. this merge will keep branch master even with branch coverity_scan so that branch coverity_scan can be fast forwarded later to trigger a scan.

this pr makes it possible for us to trigger coverity scan merely by merging into the coverity_scan branch
