@Steven-N-Hart @gershkovich - thoughts on the message below?

We would like to make the membership aware of two opportunities to become involved in the API Technical Standards Committee in the coming year. The purpose of this committee is to raise awareness of and share information on topics related to the standards and technologies that underpin the representation and exchange of healthcare data in the context of pathology and laboratory medicine.

First, we would like to invite interested API members to join the committee! We meet monthly to discuss current topics and plan activities. [More about the committee...]

Secondly, we are soliciting the submission of content to our Standards and Interoperability website. This site was recently created to feature informal, blog-style posts highlighting news, events, and topics of relevance to technical standards and interoperability. Please have a look at existing posts, the site description, and list of topic ideas maintained as GitHub issues. We are particularly hoping to engage and mentor trainees who are interested in writing posts as a mechanism for learning more about relevant topics.

Revised:

We would like to make the membership aware of two opportunities to become involved in the API Technical Standards Committee in the coming year. The purpose of this committee is to raise awareness of and share information on topics related to the standards and technologies that underpin the representation and exchange of healthcare data in the context of pathology and laboratory medicine.

First, we would like to invite interested API members to join the committee! We meet monthly to discuss current topics and plan activities related to pressing issues of information exchange between clinical systems used in Laboratory Medicine and Pathology. Topics include digitized slides, AI algorithms, data exchange interfaces and formats, dashboards and other types of visualization, workflow management systems, cybersecurity, and others. Please respond to ... if you are interested or want to learn more.
