Balloon tips stopped working in 0.45 (Windows 7) #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Just run XBMControl & play a song
2. In config "Show 'Now playing' balloon tips" is checked

Further suggestions:
1. Show "Artist - Title" in tray tooltip (when hovering over tray icon)
2. Show/hide in tray context menu is useless: double-click does just that.
Including Play/Pause, Next & Previous instead would be great!

Furthermore, brilliant little program!

Seems to be working in Windows 7.
Please check the Control Panel to see if notifications for XBMControl are
enabled.

Start -> Control Panel -> All Control Panel Options -> Notification Area Icons
Select XBMControl, Behaviour should be "Show Icon and Notifications".
Hope this helps.

Hmmz, still doesn't work here. Furthermore, quite often only the playlist stays
visible, even though the main windows is either minimized or should be behind
the
active program window. Doesn't happen with 0.44.

Downloaded XBMControl 0.45 and ran. I do see some weird behaviour in the
downloaded
executable. The behaviour is different on a clean build.

I will check the 0.45 build package to see if something was not correct.

Thank you for the information.

No problem man, enjoying the ease of this program every day. By the way, do you
agree with my suggestions?

Another suggestion: could you make the playlist resizable? The fixed height of
8 is
a bit restricting.

Your suggestions:
1) Show "Artist-Title" in tray tooltip - Implementing.
2) Show/hide in tray context menu - Investigating (will implement if not a big
change)
3) Resizable playlist - Will make into an option. This may not end up in the
next
release due to time constraints.

Thanks, really looking forward to a new release!

(2 by the way is just shuffling around of the context menu items - and removing
2 of
them.)

New version 0.4.6 for you to try (in the downloads section).
Suggestions:
1) Implemented.
2) Took out show/hide options. If you minimize program will only show in the
system
menu.
3) Resizing turned into a bigger project than what I wanted to take on. Made
playlist area a little bigger, with bigger fonts.
Enjoy.

1) It's not in this "0.46" version (still says 0.45)
2) Not in this version

I don't understand: I downloaded a new 0.46 installer which said it was
uploaded 74
minutes ago back then, but almost nothing changed compared to my previous post:
none
of the changes are found, except for the fact that the playlist is a bit
larger,
which makes no sense, because no more items are shown in the list, it only
makes it
look odd, since the playlist now doesn't fit to the main window. Moreover, I
still
experience problems with the playlist which stays on top of other windows
sometimes.
Have to investigate further to know how it is reproducable exactly.
