Hmm apparently, the patch was not enough @jeroen.
In fact it was enough sorry. It seems however that purrr
is not retro-compatible on 32-bit systems, which is odd coming from posit folks.
Right, they have released a fix to CRAN, but it has not been built yet for Windows: https://github.com/tidyverse/purrr/issues/1039
Everything should resolve itself in a few days :)

R-4.1 was the last release with 32-bit support. So test on this version to catch issues like https://github.com/rwinlib/vtk/issues/2
