Feature Request: window interactions in overview #9

Hi! Currently the window thumbnails in the overview are rigid rectangles without any interaction. The user can only click on them to switch to the certain window. However, it would be more convenient if the user was able to close the windows from the overview, as well as see the window title and icon at the bottom of the thumbnail. Like on GNOME, Windows10.

Thanks for the suggestion. This is a little lower priority than the bug fixes necessary, but a worthwhile addition.

There’s a few “often show stopping bugs” that need to be fixed first. Once I have time to resume work on this, I’ll do so.

Thanks for the response. I totally respect your priorities, bugs are indeed more urgent material. Just suggested a future direction of development. I appreciate your work and use it daily. And btw, one small design suggestion: Windows are too close to each other in the overview, could you add a bit of spacing/padding? Or should I open a different issue for that?
