I recently updated to the latest version, am no longer seeing VATSIM traffic when on their network on my Foreflight app. I know Foreflight recently had an update too, is there something I am missing that needs to be switched on to see traffic in my area? I verified the settings in FS2FF are all checked on.

I have noticed that I often don't see all the traffic on the iPad that I can see in the game, so there is definitely an issue there. Something I will have to look into when I get the time.

The only things you should have to check is that Traffic is turned on in fs2ff and that the Traffic layer is turned on in ForeFlight (it turns off randomly for me, so always worth a check).

Dude. That layers was off after the foreflight update. That must have been it. I primarily fly the commercial airliners, thing it would be possible to increase the size of reportable area for other aircraft to something like 80nm? I feel like 40 is adequate, but, more is better.

Not sure why you're only seeing 40nm. I'm asking for traffic at a radius of 200km from the game, which is over 100nm. Maybe there is a limit in ForeFlight. At any rate, there isn't much more that I can do about that, unfortunately.

Any chance you have "Hide Distant Traffic" turned on in ForeFlight?

I feel like it was the traffic layer turning off between flights. Haven’t had an issue since I was made aware to go look for that layer and making sure it was on.
