Suzuki M109R #22

Looking to use this project on my Suzuki M109R. Hopefully you can help me get the proper HW interface built/bought and programs setup/built/configured to pull Diags from my ECU. At the very least some suggestions on reading for helping understand the fundamentals.

Hello. Apologies, my bike is a 2008. In the service manual it mentions SDS (Suzuki Diagnostic System) I believe would be the physical port could be utilized. I bought a 6-pin Suzuki to obd2 cable adapter. I have a cheapo Bluetooth/FM transmitter obd2 dongle that requires power from the obd2 port. With the bike on there isn't any power going to the dongle. I haven't used a self powered obd2 tool yet to see if that would read any live data.
