The repositories AsTeRICS, WebACS,... contain tutorials in their wiki which are written in either markdown or asciidoc format.

e.g. https://github.com/asterics/AsTeRICS/wiki/AsTeRICS_Webserver_Document_Root or generally selected tutorials from here https://github.com/asterics/AsTeRICS/wiki/Developer_Guide or other locations.

• Can the tutorial be directly viewed within the asterics-web container? Yes, it is possible to display all tutorials available at GitHub, and also to load and display their contents. Similar to currently implemented ACS-Help functionality.

  There are several npm packages available that render markdown and asciidoc:

  • Showdown: markdown to HTML converter
  • Markdown: markdown to HTML,XHTML converter

  • Asciidoctor.js: official asciidoctor HTML renderer
