https://docs.asterisk.org/Configuration/Dialplan/Special-Dialplan-Extensions/ page has EXCEPTION
link with URL https://docs.asterisk.org/latest_api/API_Documentation/Dialplan_Functions/EXCEPTION but I bet it must be https://docs.asterisk.org/Latest_API/API_Documentation/Dialplan_Functions/EXCEPTION (manually detected).
latest_api
-> Latest_API
. Maybe worth to find others like that (just in case).
https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Migrating+from+chan_sip+to+res_pjsip (shouldn't be needed after Asterisk v21, but still good to have)
I couldn't find this content on the new site
The fix for the Latest_API thing is on its way up.
Hello, I couldn't find the documentation for Dialplan SendFax and Dialplan RecieveFax
https://docs.asterisk.org/Asterisk_16_Documentation/API_Documentation/Dialplan_Applications/SendFax https://docs.asterisk.org/Asterisk_16_Documentation/API_Documentation/Dialplan_Applications/ReceiveFax
Hello, I couldn't find the documentation for Dialplan SendFax and Dialplan RecieveFax
https://docs.asterisk.org/Asterisk_16_Documentation/API_Documentation/Dialplan_Applications/SendFax https://docs.asterisk.org/Asterisk_16_Documentation/API_Documentation/Dialplan_Applications/ReceiveFax
Expected links: https://docs.asterisk.org/Asterisk_16_Documentation/API_Documentation/Dialplan_Applications/SendFAX https://docs.asterisk.org/Asterisk_16_Documentation/API_Documentation/Dialplan_Applications/ReceiveFAX
Looks like this is a common issue across the docs (case does not match).
Btw, I bet it would be better to mention where is the starting point for your links @Starvingg , as I had no issues to locate working ones but yours - have no idea where did you come from.
Hey @oduserdnov below is my starting point (At the end of the document) https://docs.asterisk.org/Asterisk_16_Documentation/API_Documentation/Dialplan_Functions/FAXOPT/
I tried searching as well but wasn't confident the ReceiveFax and SendFax I found was related to Dialplan.
Ah. Those need to be fixed in the res_fax module itself. I'll get a fix pushed up.
The case mismatches for dialplan applications and functions should be fixed in all branches now. I had forgotten to do the 16 branch the other day but it's fixed there now as well.
That was moved to https://sangomakb.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Phones/pages/21299305/Sangoma+D-Series+Phones as it is Sangoma commercial product documentation, and not part of Asterisk or open source.
https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Configuring+res_pjsip (along with the sip link I mentioned earlier) are both referenced in the deprecation notice printed by Asterisk
Hey all! Found a redirect issue for the Hangup Handlers documentation.
Link I was looking for: https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Hangup+Handlers
Link that it was redirected to: https://docs.asterisk.org/Hangup+Handlers
Actual location of information: https://docs.asterisk.org/Configuration/Dialplan/Subroutines/Hangup-Handlers/

@2br-2b I thought we squashed all of those. Which branch are you seeing the message in and for which module?

Thanks. I'm trying to find a better way to handle the redirects.
Redirected to this page from the See Also
section of Playback for the Dialplan Applications WaitExten
link.
Seems the path prefix Asterisk_certified/18.9_Documentation
should be Certified-Asterisk_18.9_Documentation
: https://docs.asterisk.org/Certified-Asterisk_18.9_Documentation/API_Documentation/Dialplan_Applications/WaitExten/
Thanks for the report @DrPyser . These should all be fixed now.
Thanks @ronlockard. I'm trying to find a better way to handle the redirects that don't fit a known pattern.
https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/SIP+Retransmissions
Currently Redirects to which has no info:
https://docs.asterisk.org/SIP+Retransmissions
Probably should redirect to:
@bguilera Had you visited that page on the old wiki at some time? I don't see it in the dump we took so I'm wondering what it pointed to originally.
@gtjoseph Unfortunately no, I don't recall visiting the old wiki.
On this Site: https://docs.asterisk.org/Getting-Started/Installing-Asterisk/Installing-Asterisk-From-Source/What-to-Download/ is an Link "Checking Asterix Requirements" which redirects to this non existent site: https://docs.asterisk.org/Getting-Started/Installing-Asterisk/Installing-Asterisk-From-Source/Checking-Asterisk-Requirements
On this Site: https://docs.asterisk.org/Getting-Started/Installing-Asterisk/Installing-Asterisk-From-Source/What-to-Download/ is an Link at the download section, which then gives an Error 500: https://downloads.asterisk.org/pub/telephony/libpri/libpri-current.tar.gz
I think it should point to: https://downloads.asterisk.org/pub/telephony/libpri/libpri-1-current.tar.gz
On this page: https://docs.asterisk.org/Getting-Started/Hello-World/ the "installing pjproject" link is Installing pjproject, but I think it should be https://docs.asterisk.org/Getting-Started/Installing-Asterisk/Installing-Asterisk-From-Source/Prerequisites/PJSIP-pjproject/ Currently it shows the 404 page, linking to this issue. Many thanks!
All the links at https://www.asterisk.org/downloads/source-code/
@supercooltest Thanks for reporting this. This page isn't actually linked from www.asterisk.org any more which is probably why we never updated it. We didn't know it was there. I take it you found this page linked from an external site? Anyway, I've updated it.
Old link: https://docs.asterisk.org/Asterisk+Community+Code+of+Conduct New link: https://docs.asterisk.org/Asterisk-Community/Asterisk-Community-Code-of-Conduct/
Thanks, I'll try and get that fixed on Monday when I'm back in the office.
Hello, no link found: https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/External+Media+and+ARI
The link from https://community.asterisk.org/t/streaming-from-ari-snoop-channel-for-speech-recognition/75982/6
I fixed the community post to point to the correct page.
Old link: https://docs.asterisk.org/Asterisk+Community+Code+of+Conduct New link: https://docs.asterisk.org/Asterisk-Community/Asterisk-Community-Code-of-Conduct/
Redirect added. Should show up shortly.
Old link found : https://docs.asterisk.org/Function_TIMEOUT
Old link found : https://docs.asterisk.org/Function_TIMEOUT @Rayan-Weragala Where did you find that link?
This needed to be fixed in Asterisk itself. Should propagate here in a few days.
@chorons6bo You're correct. I've added a redirect for the original page and it should become active sometime today.
If you find a link to the old wiki.asterisk.org website that just takes you to the new documentation site homepage instead of real content, add it here and we'll try to set up a redirect that takes you to the relevant content instead.
Please include the stale link and, if you found the real content on the new website, that link as well.
