I think there was some reason for using data_files= instead of scripts=, but since it is not documented, I'm ready to accept this change. However, please exclude the README from the pull request.

Ah sorry, used master instead of fixed branch. Also I concluded that the fix did not work, it installs fine, but the installed code gives errors. So I'll close this pull for now.
