I'm going to prepare a DB dump without password hashes.
DB instructions should go into the backend repo til everything is Haskell one day.
Thanks for you patches. Collaboration is fun, and install instructions are probably the most important part of documentation!
Here is the public data from Bitlove.org: https://spaceboyz.net/~astro/prittorrent-2012-08-27.sql.bz2
Very cool, that helps a lot :-) . How about putting it into the download section of the repo and a notice in the README?
Well, though I removed any password hashes, email addresses and private feeds, it's still not-so-public data. :-)
So auto-generated content is a new task to do. :-)
In the long term I would like to rewrite the backend in Haskell too. Just take a look at xml-conduit. @snoyberg is a true wizard!
Fiddled a bit to get it working. Text needs grammar and content check.
Do you have sample data for the database at your local machine?
