NameError date not defined when entering date and time #185

On the GUI, if we use the system date and time it works just fine. When we manually enter date and time we get a NameError: date not defined. We tested this previously and it worked fine, so we suspect some new feature broke this.

I have added a pull request in the biasT banch on accident. The change fixes the error in date
