Main README.MD links not functional #19

Most of the links on the README displayed at the bottom of the GitHub project page are functionally broken, although the raw MD file look ok. Latest Mac Safari browser.

Note that copying the link and pasting into a new browser tab URL box works (with httpS upgrade). Clicking it does not. Also note that the links in the left column of the preview pane of this issue fail similarly as rendered by GitHub GFM. I suggest that you try updating the links to httpS and checking the last one. I suspect a GitHub GFM bug/feature is at work.
