cannot open check.fits in fitsio library #56

I'm not able to open check.fits from the fitsio python library. They have informed me that the fits doesn't have xtension keyword to start for the second hdu. Is there any possible way to include this in sextractor? On the other hand, the astropy and ds9 can open the check.fits.
