Problem with compiling with "make -j" #62

Hi,

Whenever I try to compile SE with the make -j command, I always receive this error: make error.txt

I am using Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS. Is there a way I can fix this?

Hi, did you figure out what the issue was? Im going through the installation and getting a very similar message

arbodox commented 5 months ago

Unfortunately no, I have not figured it out.

It's a minor issue, but is still annoying enough that I'm not the only person on the planet who have noticed it. Nowadays multi-core CPUs are very common and it would be great to be able to speed up compilation with make -j

Hi all, This was fixed a while ago. Please use the tagged version 2.28.0 or the master branch until I find the time to draft a new release with more information. make -j works fine on Fedora 38 and gcc 13.2.
