no sound at all in app

Description hopefully, I am not just dumb. the app does not have any sound output at all to my knowledge and has been frustrating for the longest time, I thought it was normal behavior until I bought a second 3DS XL for parts and tested it. The only time I can know what music will play is by opening every single theme one by one and backing out to the home screen each time to listen. this has been a problem for over a year.

Steps to reproduce open any preview in the app. new or old it does not work. the only way to know if there even is music is to set it as my background. I have tried reinstalling everything and even resetting my 3DS but no luck.

Expected behavior to hear any noise at all during a preview or any circumstance other than when a theme is set as my active theme and I am on the home menu. I cant tell the extent of the problem as I didn't even realize anything was wrong for the longest time.

If you are not on the latest version of Anemone3DS, your bug report will likely be closed. Ensure the bug occurs in the latest build!

You forgot a step that extracts the DSP firmware for homebrew use when setting up CFW on your console and no homebrew can use audio because of that.
Use the "Dump DSP firmware" option in the Rosalina "Miscellaneous options menu" before launching Anemone, just once to have the file created with the right data.

And if the sound doesn't work even after I ''dump DSP firm'', reinstall the app, rebooting the console. I got the same problem after updating the app. I have the same configuration as HaileyCat, except I have the new 3ds xl.
