Expose more Kafka options for reliable message transmission #44

I don't have a strong opinion about that; it would be simpler not to thread things through an extra layer, but we would have to add more code to hop if we wanted it to take over interfacing with confluent-kafka. Maybe @mjuric and @adambrazier have opinions?
