@maxnoe is going to share this with CTA folks for a review, and then we can do a final review and merge.

@nmearl unfortunately not yet, I asked for a review but did not yet receive an answer.

@maxnoe I've now taken a pass on behalf of SAPO, some very small changes in the attached. Let me know if anything is unclear d220208_gammapy.txt
