@pllim I saw you've been working on an Astropy GitHub Actions CI.

@pllim -- There are actually two parts we need to do:

[x] Use GitHub Actions in the generated template, see #449 by @tepickering .
[x] Use GitHub Actions in this repo itself, assigned to @pllim . See #502

I think a PR may be coming soon adding Github Actions to the template. It may be a couple of weeks still until a PR is opened. If you need to switch now, take a look at the setup in photutils. They have already switched and have a nice setup.

Template CI update is pretty low on my list right now, so if you are waiting on me, don't hold your breath...
