I have updated all dependencies to their latest versions, including major changes for React, from 17.x to 18.x. as well as swapping some dependencies for newer libraries etc. It would be good to get everyone's opinion on this as it is a fundamental change. This is separate to the upgrade of mui 4 to 5, but should be able to be merged into that, or have that merged into this, whichever gets merged first.
I'm not sure when is best to merge this really, I may delay, even if it is approved by all. I have been upgrading orbis in parallel, but it is having some major problems.
