Modify Concept: Methods, submitted by Trae Winter (CfA) 11/23/2016 #41

Rename "Methods" to something like "Observational regimes." Check into the literature to see how "regime" is used in context.

Methods is now Astronomical methods http://astrothesaurus.org/uat/1043 under Observational Astronomy.

Its children are primarily (radar, radio, UV ect.) but not entirely (computational, time-domain, amateur ect.) passbands.

The distinction between terms "Astronomical methods" and "Astronomical techniques" may NOT be immediately clear to a user.

The suggested "Observational regimes" is not necessarily any clearer.

yea, I think the fact that its not immediately obvious what a method is vs a technique prompted this suggestion to rename this concept. I don't think "regime" is the way to go, but I'm not sure what makes the most sense, if a change even needs to be made.
