These are star types used in the vocab for the APT tool at STScI.

FK Comae stars Defined here: http://encyclopedia2.thefreedictionary.com/FK+Comae+stars as "A class of rapidly spinning giant stars, possibly examples of coalesced stars." Listed in Wikipedia under variable stars. According to one of our scientists, the could go "probably under extrinsic because they are fast rotating, but they also have emission features. Extrinsic -> Ellipsoidal variable stars. (Rotating could be a synonym for ellipsoidal.)"

Eta carinae stars May require more input. One of our scientists thought this could be a synonym for luminous blue variables.

I can add FK Comae stars. Is FK Comae variable stars ok?

Any further input on Eta carinae stars? I'll also try asking around.

FK Comae accepted.

Eta Carinae rejected pending further input.
