Halo drop on respawn does not work like halo drop from base #3

Ok, this is a kind of complicated one and I'm still trying to track it down.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Die
  2. Select Halo Drop respawn option
  3. Plummet to your death when it doesn't give you a parachute.

The halo drop from the base does not seem to suffer from this problem, but it appears both halo drops are calling the same function. As a quick fix, halo drop as a respawn option could be disabled.

I don't have any really solid ideas as to what might be causing it. I'll keep looking into it tonight.
