as you can see my kvaser device is connected to my pc however, when i try cd /linuxcan/canlib/examples ./listchannels it says found 0 channel. its not because im running kvaser in virtual environment. i know it cuz it worked perfectly yesterday.

can anyone help me plzz

im running kvaser in virtual environment Can you elaborate? Are you running inside a VM like virtualbox? or some sort of docker container?

What is the output if you run lsusb? Does it show up in this list?

i solved it thanks for asking

i simply just reinstalled everything and now it works just fine.
