Noto Nastaliq U+0658 shape #350

The diacritic mark for indicating noon ghunna (sporadically used but sometimes
essential) in the middle of a word, here on top of noon, ن٘, could be
slightly reshaped. It appears too big in comparison with the dot; moreover, its
shape should be a bit more along the lines of a V. Here attached pictures from
calligraphed sources.

Thank you.

It's very late in the game to be proposing design changes of this type.
Attached is the current Noto Nastaliq rendering of the sample word in the
middle. What stands out to me is not the difference in the proportions of the
mark, but its calligraphic emphasis. We can readily contemplate such a change
in a future version. But then again, some other reviewers might prefer the less
emphatic typographic form we currently use.

I understand your reasoning and it is well possible someone might have
different preferences in the future. Still, this sign is almost never used so I
doubt if it is going to attract many opinions. I agree about the emphasis, in
this version it is just alright as the calligraphed version is too emphatic
because of it being a dictionary. Still the sign should be smaller as it is too
big in some words and occupies the space of other letters as in the attached
example:
