Maintained feature-rich linux driver for NumberPad(2.0) on Asus laptops. NumberPad(2.0) is illuminated numeric keypad integrated to touchpad which appears when is done tap on top right corner of touchpad for atleast 1s by default (configurable) or slide gesture from top right/left corner to the center, the left shows calc app aswell (configurable).
I just pulled my 14" Asus notebook out of the closet, uninstalled the old version of the numberpad driver 4.4.1 and installed 6.3.2.
It seems to be working normally but the keypad numbers are output incorrectly (12345 gives &é"'( which represents the lower case characters on the top row of my AZERTY keyboard whereas the numbers are in the uppercase position). Setting caplock gives the same thing but with capital É instead of é.
The installation script prompted me for the correct keyboard e210ma but did not ask about the touchpad category which was i2c-2 in the old version.
Describe the bug
Hi,
I just pulled my 14" Asus notebook out of the closet, uninstalled the old version of the numberpad driver 4.4.1 and installed 6.3.2.
Could you please advise?
Thanks and best regards,
John
