The Compose file './docker-compose.yml' is invalid because: services.workers.depends_on contains an invalid type, it should be an array services.backend.depends_on contains an invalid type, it should be an array

Looks like it was docker-compose version issues(1.25) solved it by upgrading the version

sudo apt remove --purge docker-compose sudo curl -L "https://github.com/docker/compose/releases/download/1.29.2/docker-compose-$(uname -s)-$(uname -m)" -o /usr/local/bin/docker-compose sudo chmod +x /usr/local/bin/docker-compose sudo mount /tmp -o remount,exec
