Search suppliers by Text

As a user I want to be able to search for service suppliers using keywords, including auto-complete capabilities, so I don't need to know and type the complete words required to get what I'm looking for.

Acceptance criteria:

• A textbox should be displayed for the user to type keywords associated to a service subcategory (e.g.: a subcategory can be 'ALB' - meaning albañileria -, and it will have associated keywords such as 'albañileria', 'albañil','revoque','ladrillo','mamposteria', etc).
• Need to define service subcategories and their association with suppliers (probably in a different story)
• As soon as the user starts typing, the list of keywords for all the service subcategories is queried for items matching the user input, and offered as results in a drop down, so the user can select to trigger the search. Alternative --> https://angular-ui.github.io/bootstrap/#/typeahead ?
  • Need to define the amount of -minimum- characters that need to be typed in order to search for user's input against the list of keywords associated to service subcategories.
  • Need to define if the full list of keywords is downloaded and cached on first page load (slows down the first page load) or it is queried -e.g.: via http async call- for each character typed (more hits to the server / with impact to the whole app and other users)
  • Need to define if we'll trigger the search even if the user did not enter/selected a valid keyword
• A button will be provided right next to the search textbox and it will allow triggering the search Alternative --> http://getbootstrap.com/components/#input-groups-buttons?
• Hitting the enter key over one of the matching keywords offered in the drop down, should also trigger the search
• Once the search is triggered, the server will be queried for service suppliers subscribed to the service subcategory associated to the keyword entered/selected.
• This story won't cover displaying the service suppliers matching the resolved service subcategory from the keyword, and it will be accepted by just returning a collection (JSON?) of matching service supplier objects to the client. (see #4 for details on implementation of the display)

  Notes:

• Even while we'll start with suppliers in a single city, design should consider providing a location/city as another search parameter (in addition to the service subcategory keyword) so as the list of results is narrowed down to the user's location.
• Even while we'll start with 'Construction' as the first service category (and keywords associated to subcategories of that service category), design should consider being able to search by keywords associated to service subcategories through multiple service categories.
